This kind of medieval cloak is based on a medieval cape which was very fashionable with traveling folk. It allowed you to easily walk, ride, use your arms and still be warm and comfy. To do this, the cloak is slashed at the sides to just above the elbow and the front part is belted at the waist. You get a matching belt together with the cloak but you can, of course, use any of your own. The back and the sides look just like any ordinary medieval cape.
